The collection Heorth is inspired by a vivid image of a man sitting in a rocking chair wrapped in a wool blanket nestled by a roaring fire. The man, staring into the glowing embers and dancing flames rocks back and forth reading the latest book from the New York Times Best Sellers list while soft and fluffy white snowflakes fall outside. Heorth is influenced by the customary practice of wrapping, bundling and layering that normally takes place during the cold and winter days. This collection also draws upon familial feeling associated with the words ‘comfy’ and ‘cozy’. Whether it be “Sitting outside on a cold fall evening with a…blanket over the shoulders, chatting with friends…” or dressed in pajamas, drinking hot cocoa and wearing “chunky knits and cottage socks”. Heorth is inspired by these unique and ‘one-of-a-kind’ moments which triggers familiar feelings of comfort, warmth, relaxation and family.
